Corporal Wabo

Kevin “Corporal Wabo” Wabiszewski is a former U.S. Marine mortarman (0341) and squad leader with 3rd Battalion, 4th Marines. After advanced infantry training, he was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and assigned to Wounded Warrior Battalion during treatment. While recovering, he founded Marine Approved to bring authentic, Marine-tested reviews of tactical, survival, and outdoor gear to veterans, shooters, and outdoor enthusiasts. Over time, the site has grown into a trusted resource in the firearms and survival community. His expertise and story have been featured in respected military publications including the Military Times.
